On-Site Diagnostic Appointments
Orthopaedic Mobility Rentals provides limited diagnostic and repair services for mobility scooters and power wheelchairs in Washington, DC, Northern Virginia, and nearby Maryland.
Repair appointments are available by appointment only and are subject to scheduling availability. Most appointments are scheduled during weekday evenings or weekends.
Service-call fee
$150 On-Site Service-Call Fee
A $150 non-refundable service-call fee is required before the appointment is confirmed.
The service-call fee includes:
✅ Travel to your location within our approved service area
✅ Inspection and diagnosis of the equipment
✅ Up to 15 minutes of minor labor
✅ An explanation of the problem and recommended next steps
Important
The service-call fee covers the visit and diagnosis. It does not guarantee that the equipment can be fully repaired during the first appointment.

Whenever possible, we will explain the problem and discuss additional charges before continuing with the repair.

We may not be able to repair every brand, model, or type of damage. Some equipment may need to be serviced by the manufacturer or an authorized dealer.

Repair Service Pricing
On-Site Diagnostic Service Call
$150
Includes travel to the approved service location, equipment diagnosis, and up to 15 minutes of minor labor.
Additional Labor
$150 per additional 15 minutes
Additional labor will only be performed after discussing the charge with the customer.
Preventive Maintenance Service
$199
Preventive maintenance may include:
✅ Battery testing
✅ Charger testing
✅ Brake inspection
✅ Tire and wheel inspection
✅ Electrical connection checks
✅ Tightening loose hardware
✅ Basic operational test
Battery Installation Labor
$80
Battery cost is not included.
Parts, batteries, travel outside the normal service area, and applicable taxes are additional.

Battery prices are subject to availability. The equipment model and battery size must be confirmed before batteries are ordered or installed.

Repair appointments are limited and are scheduled around existing equipment deliveries and pickups.

✅ Additional travel charges may apply outside our standard service area
